These are just some of the shows and episodes you can expect to binge watch this weekend:
The Oxygen cult classic about women who reach a breaking point and, well, snap will air several episodes during Mother's Day weekend. Featured episodes include ones about Kimberly Cargill, who murdered her child's mentally disabled babysitter, and Yalanda Lind, who killed her mother in a home invasion.
Dorothea Puente seemed like a sweet older lady who took in poor and disabled tenants out of the goodness of her heart. In reality, she was a murderous scammer who poisoned them, buried them in her yard, and stole their disability checks. Learn all about this killer mom in the Oxygen special.
Some deaths are just so mysterious, they leave people questioning what really happened. In one of the featured episodes, firefighters discover the charred remains of a young wife and mother but the flames didn’t kill her. She sustained a gunshot wound to the head and the evidence points to suicide. Loved ones argue it’s a case of murder.
Multiple episodes of the Oxygen series, which follows investigators who attempt to solve cold cases, will air during Mother's Day weekend, including "Mother-Daughter Tragedy," which focuses on Lisa Bennett, a 29-year-old mother, and Kaylee, her 6-year-old daughter, who were found strangled to death in their Fort Wayne, Indiana, home in 1993. Two suspects, both of whom were Lisa's boyfriends, were viewed as suspects in the deaths. However, at the time, proper crime scene procedures were not followed, and contaminated DNA evidence have made arrests elusive in this still-unsolved case.
Murdering your own son? As Ice-T, host of "In Ice Cold Blood" would put it, some crimes are just too cold-blooded to even imagine. In one featured episode, a man is found dead in the shower, and police have only two suspects, but to figure out who killed him and why is not as cut and dry as it may seem.
Mother's Day is supposed to be a celebration, but not in this episode of "Murdered By Morning." A rowdy night out at a Chicago pub turns deadly when daybreak reveals a mutilated body. Police cross state lines as they try to track a killer, but it will take an unexpected call and a brutal betrayal to finally solve this case and find justice.
This special episode of "Killer Couples" takes a deep dive into one of the most notorious murders of all time: the killing of Dee Dee Blanchard, which was orchestrated by her own daughter, Gypsy Rose, and carried out by Gypsy Rose's boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn. But of course, there was more to the story than initially met the eye.
