Man With No Nose Is Busted On Child Porn Charges For A Second Time
Joshua Glen Box had a previous conviction for child porn and was deemed a sex offender who might re-offend.
A noseless Arkansas man with a face as shocking as his alleged crimes has been arrested on federal child pornography charges. This is his second arrest related to child porn.
Joshua Glen Box, 35, was indicted June 5 by a federal grand jury for receiving and possessing child pornography involving victims younger than 12, according to KSFM-TV in Fayetteville.
He was arrested and booked June 7 at the Washington County Jail.
Box was previously arrested in April 2015, when authorities tracked a computer to his residence in Springfield. He was offering to share explicit pornography involving kids, using an online file sharing program, authorities said.
Box told officers he'd been downloading child pornography since he was 15, according to KSFM-TV.
After an examination of his computer and electronic devices, authorities found around 2,500 images and 450 videos of child porn, an arrest warrant said. He was convicted in August 2015 and became a level 2 sex offender, a category meaning he may re-offend.
When he was released in May this year, he relocated from Springfield to Fayetteville. The Washington County Sheriff's Office notified the public in a Facebook post.
Box is in the Washington County jail, in the custody of the Federal Court of the Western District of Arkansas.
The cause of Box's disfigurement is unclear and police made no mention of his appearance.
