Pamela Hupp Enters Alford Plea

Those close to the case of Pamela Hupp, who was found guilty of the 2016 murder of Louis Gumpenberger, reflect on the investigation. Hupp shot Gumpenberger to death at her home, and in 2019, Hupp entered an Alford guilty plea for Gumpenberger's killing. "The only way that we were going to get her to accept any degree of responsibility was through an Alford plea," said St. Charles County Prosecutor Tim Lohmar.
