What Was The I-5 Killer's Mark?
Randall Woodfield, aka the "I-5 Killer," is suspected of killing as many as 44 people between 1980 and 1981. He briefly played professional football and used athletic tape to both bind his victims and use it as a disguise by placing a strip of it over his nose. "Sports tape is more of an anomaly in terms of binding material," said FBI Criminal Profiler Mark Safarik.
