Former Deputy Describes Finding Body Of Missing Indiana Teen

At 7:45 p.m. on November 2, 2009 in Rockport, Indiana, Ryan Shelby calls 911 dispatch to report that his stepdaughter, 15-year-old Alexis "Lexi" Oesterle, is missing. He claims the last time he saw or heard from her was the day prior, and that the last person to see her alive was Oesterle's mother, Jessica Oesterle. Spencer County Sheriff's Office former deputy Jason Dunsworth arrives at the residence and examines Alexis' bedroom. Noticing her window is partially open, he checks the backyard and finds the body of a young girl.
