Jersey Shore Star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Wants Custody After Alleged Car Dragging Incident With Ex
"Jersey Shore" reality star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has a daughter, Ariana, with ex Jen Harley, who faces charges after their alleged Las Vegas blowup.
Reality TV star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro wants custody of his daughter after an alleged car-dragging incident in Vegas, which resulted in his ex Jen Harley's arrest on charges of domestic assault.
Ortiz-Magro is weighing his options, according to TMZ, and trying to decide whether or not he wants to hire a family lawyer - the couple does not have any legal custody agreement in place. The "Jersey Shore" star wants shared joint custody, TMZ said.
Since the June 24 incident, the couple's daughter, Ariana, has been with Ortiz-Magro. Apparently, Ortiz-Magro's mother helps with babysitting duties and Harley sees Ariana regularly. The couple doesn't communicate much however, according to TMZ, unless it's something regarding Ariana.
The couple also allegedly had a bad run-in earlier in the month, when Harley called the cops after the couple fought at a Las Vegas Planet Hollywood, according to TMZ. When police arrived though, they were unable to find Harley. After they interviewed witnesses, TMZ reported, police were told Harley punched Ortiz-Magro in the head and then spit on him.
The couple shared a residence together in Las Vegas. Ortiz-Magro is in Vegas filming the second season of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation." Season 1 wrapped up on June 28, according to Bustle.com, and Season 2 is expected to premiere in August.
