'Hot Felon' Jeremy Meeks Works Out New Child Support Deal
The model with the smoldering mugshot and his estranged wife Melissa Meeks have reached a child support deal.
Jeremy Meeks and his ex-wife have reached a child support deal. The model, known as the "Hot Felon" due to his smoldering mugshot, will pay his ex $1,000 a month to his estranged wife Melissa, reports TMZ.
Meeks and his ex-wife have also agreed to share custody of their son, 9-year-old Jeremy Jr. The child will spend 30% of his time with his famous father. Additionally, Meeks will not have to give his ex-wife spousal support.
"We are pleased that we were able to get Melissa child support in an amount 25% above legal guidelines. And the parties have worked together to come up with a reasonable child custody and visitation schedule, as parents should," shared lawyer Lisa Bloom, who is repping Melissa, to TMZ about the outcome of the case.
Meeks shot to Internet fame when his mugshot went viral in 2014. He was arrested on gun charges but then signed a modeling contract upon his release in 2016. Since then, the model has walked in shows at New York and Milan Fashion Week. Recently, he was walked the runway for Tommy Hilfiger, according to Vogue.
Outside of his career, Meeks has turned heads with his high-profile romance with Chloe Green, the daughter of the owner of Topshop. Melissa had previously accused Meeks of cheating on Green.
Meanwhile, Meeks and Green are going strong.
"Thank you for loving me the way you do and making this one Amazing birthday @jmeeksofficial you have spoilt me beyond belief!," Green recently posted to Instagram.
"Happy Birthday Baby. I’m so Blessed to have you in my life. This is the first of many more to come.I love you more than words can explain....," he shared to Green on Instagram.
Meeks and Melissa were married for eight years.
