Man Allegedly Stabs Estranged Wife To Death, As Well As A Contractor Installing Cabinets In Her Home
Michelle Bullock had a restraining order against Brian Bullock, who had only recently gotten out on bail after allegedly assaulting her over the summer.
A man is accused of murdering his estranged wife, who had filed a restraining order against him after he allegedly assaulted her, and a man who was renovating her home.
On Sunday, someone called 911 to report a fight at Michelle Bullock’s mobile home in Houston, Texas, according to the Houston Chronicle. Police arrived to find both Bullock, 29, and Mark Keil, 56, a man who was installing cabinets in her home, stabbed to death.
Hours later, 34-year-old Brian Bullock, the estranged husband of Michelle, turned himself into police. He was only recently out on bail after a June arrest for allegedly pushing Michelle Bullock. In August, the mother of three filed a restraining order against him, according to the KPRC in Houston. She told her neighbors to keep an eye out for Brian Bullock, who she claimed had stalked her in the past, according to that report.
Lt. Chris Sandoval, homicide investigator for the Harris County Sheriff's Office, told the Woodlands Patch the family had a history of violence.
Michelle Bullock’s brother, Mike Harris, told KPRC that his sister was being abused.
"She told me that he beat on her, that one time he had ripped her shirt off of her in front of everybody," he said.
Gail White, a friend of Michelle Bullock, told the news outlet that Michelle lived in fear because of her estranged husband.
"Friday, she made a post on Facebook that's still there that he said that he was going to get her this weekend and being the mom that she is, she sent her kids away just in case he actually showed up and that's the only reason that her kids weren't there when he came," she said.
Brian Bullock has been charged with capital murder and is being held without bond. It’s unclear at this time if he has a lawyer who can speak on his behalf.
