Girl Got Her Alleged 72-Year-Old Stalker On Video Before He Molested Her

A 72-year-old Florida man has been accused of stalking a 12-year-old year for weeks before he grabbed her, fondled her breasts, and tried to kiss her while she was walking home from the bus stop, police said.

Abdulla Ndregjoni, 72, has been charged with aggravated stalking of a child under 16 and lewd and lascivious molestation after the alleged incident, according to WFLA.

The young girl told detectives the man had been following her for weeks and had even taken a video of him walking away on the sidewalk on one occasion, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

On Thursday, the victim said the man grabbed her and tried to kiss her on the face, before allegedly groping her breasts through her shirt. She had just gotten off of the bus and had been walking home at the time.

After reporting the man to authorities that day, the Largo Police set up surveillance at the bus stop on Friday and saw Ndregjoni following the victim to her apartment complex and witnessed him inappropriately touching her, according to the Tampa Bay Times.  

Detectives arrested him at the scene. Ndregjoni would later allegedly tell investigators that he had been attracted to the girl because of her skin tone, according to an affidavit obtained by WFLA.

“The defendant admitted he developed an attraction to the victim and he believed she was in fact under the age of sixteen,” the affidavit said.

He is currently being held on the felony charges against him at the Pinellas County jail on $40,000 bail.

Police are asking that anyone else who may have been stalked by the man to contact authorities.
