The former socialite linked to Jeffrey Epstein told the court she didn't need to take the stand because the case against her had not been proven.

Judge Alison Nathan refused to grant a delay in the trial, as defense attorneys combat numerous witness challenges, telling her team, “I have a rule, you have your next witness or you rest."

Ghislaine Maxwell's defense had requested that they be allowed three witnesses with name protection, similar to the sex abuse accusers who testified against the former confidante of Jeffrey Epstein.

Following three women who testified against Ghislaine Maxwell with some name protection, the disgraced socialite's defense wants the same treatment for her witnesses. 

Annie Farmer testified that Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell forced themselves on her at Epstein's New Mexico ranch in 1996.

Jane Rosenberg, the courtroom sketch artist documenting Ghislaine Maxwell's trial, says that the sex trafficking suspect has sketched her a few times in a row now.

“She came in and felt my boobs and my hips and my buttocks and said I had a great body for Mr. Epstein and his friends,” a woman identified only as Carolyn alleged on the stand.

“She said, ‘You know what he likes: cute, young, pretty, like you,’” the woman who testified under the pseudonym “Kate” said in court Monday. “She said he needed to have sex about three times a day.”

But Maxwell's defense attorney accused prosecutors of trying to unfairly depict Epstein’s home as a “domicile of debauchery.”
