Second Accuser Testifies That Ghislaine Maxwell Asked Her To Find ‘Young’ Women To Give Boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein Oral Sex ‘Because It Was A Lot For Her To Do’
“She said, ‘You know what he likes: cute, young, pretty, like you,’” the woman who testified under the pseudonym “Kate” said in court Monday. “She said he needed to have sex about three times a day.”
A second accuser to take the stand in Ghislaine Maxwell’s ongoing trial testified Monday that the British socialite had asked the teen to find “young” women to perform sex acts on her boyfriend, Jeffrey Epstein, because it was “a lot” for her to satisfy his needs herself.
The woman, who testified under the pseudonym “Kate,” described Maxwell as acting “like a school girl” when they talked about sex together, adding that at one point Maxwell asked her “if I knew anybody who could come and give Jeffrey [oral sex] because it was a lot for her to do,” according to The Guardian.
“She said, ‘You know what he likes: cute, young, pretty, like you,’” the woman testified Monday in a New York courtroom. “She said he needed to have sex about three times a day.”
Kate—now 44 years old—told jurors that she was 17-years-old when she met Maxwell in Paris around 1994, after she was introduced to the socialite by her boyfriend at the time, Law & Crime reports.
A judge told jurors that because the woman was 17 years old at the time of the alleged encounters and was considered old enough to consent in Britain, she could not be considered a victim in the case.
Prosecutors plan to use the woman’s account, however, to demonstrate Maxwell’s alleged grooming patterns.
Kate testified that after their initial meeting, she met Maxwell at her London townhouse for tea and remembered Maxwell as being “very sophisticated and very elegant.”
“She was very impressive,” she said, adding that Maxwell was “everything that I wanted to be.”
Kate recalled Maxwell talking about Epstein, her boyfriend at the time, and the “amazing things” he did as a philanthropist who liked to help young people just starting out.
“She said that I was exactly the kind of person that [Epstein] would help,” Kate testified, according to the news outlet.
Kate met Epstein herself a short time later after she had been summoned to the townhouse by Maxwell, who wanted to introduce the two.
During the meeting, Maxwell allegedly told Epstein that Kate was “very strong” for her size and asked her to “give his feet a little squeeze” to show the wealthy financier how strong she was, the woman testified.
Epstein “seemed to be very approving” and asked her to move the massage to his shoulders, she testified, according to The Guardian.
A few weeks later, Maxwell called and asked her to come to the house to give Epstein a massage because his massage therapist had canceled—even though the teen had no background as a massage therapist.
After arriving at the townhouse, Kate testified that Maxwell led her to a room where Epstein took off his robe and lay naked on a massage table. According to her account, Maxwell left the room and Epstein initiated sexual contact with her.
When she saw Maxwell later, she said the socialite asked her “Did you have fun?” and seemed “excited and happy.”
After a similar incident a few days later, Kate testified that Maxwell once again asked her if she had fun and told her she was a “good girl.”
“I’m so happy you were able to come,” Kate remembered Maxwell saying, according to The Guardian.
When the teen turned 18, she testified that she flew to see Maxwell and Epstein at his estate in Palm Beach and discovered a “schoolgirl outfit” had been left on the bed of her room.
When she asked Maxwell about the costume, she testified that Maxwell told her “I thought it would be fun for you to take Jeffrey his tea in this outfit.”
Kate testified she wore the outfit and did engage in sexual contact with Epstein.
On the same trip, Maxwell allegedly told her “that I was such a good girl and that I was one of his favorites,” Reuters reports.
She testified that she continued to be contact with Epstein into her 30s.
In her opening statements, Maxwell’s attorney, Bobbi Sternheim, addressed Kate’s allegations, saying that the teen had been living a “jet-setter lifestyle” and had been dating “a man twice her age” at the time she met Maxwell, Law & Crime reports.
She also questioned the accuracy of her memories pointing to Kate’s past use of cocaine, alcohol and sleeping pills.
On the stand, Kate admitted to drug use, but insisted it hasn’t altered her memories.
“The memories that I have of significant events of my life have never changed,” she said.
Testimony is expected to continue Monday afternoon.
