‘Jersey Shore’ Star’s Ex Arrested For Allegedly Pulling Gun On New Beau
Jen Harley and her new boyfriend, Joseph Ambrosole, allegedly got into a dispute during a night on the town in Las Vegas that escalated when they returned home.
The ex-girlfriend of “Jersey Shore” star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been arrested again, this time for allegedly assaulting her new beau.
Jen Harley, 34, allegedly got into an argument last Saturday night with her new boyfriend, Joseph Ambrosole, according to local news station KTNV. The dispute erupted in Las Vegas during a night of drinking and ended up with Ambrosole telling police that Harley had pulled a gun on him while shouting a racial slur.
“I’ll shoot you, n----,” Harley allegedly said as she pointed a gun at her boyfriend, according a police arrest report obtained by KTNV. “I’ll kill you right f------ now.”
When police arrived to the couple's home, Ambrosole had swelling around his eye and red spots on his head, police said. Harley was not with him.
The arrest report, relying on Ambrosole’s account to officers, stated that the couple had been drinking when they began arguing. On their way home, Ambrosole said Harley began live-streaming their argument as he drove. Harley allegedly punched Ambrosole multiple times and threw his phone out the car window. When Ambrosole stopped the car and exited to find his phone, Harley jumped behind the wheel and drove away, he told police. Ambrosole called an Uber and met up with Harley later at their home, where the dispute continued, culminating in Harley allegedly brandishing a gun and making threats.
Police located Harley at a friend’s house, where she was arrested and taken to the Clark County Detention Center. She later made bail and a court date has been set for Aug. 19.
In recent years, Harley's volatile relationship with ‘Jersey Shore’s Ortiz-Magro has been widely publicized, including a 2019 incident when Harley accused Ortiz-Magro of chasing her with a knife while she held their infant daughter.
Earlier that year, US Weekly reported that Harley drove away from a barbecue during an argument with Ortiz-Magro as he also sat in the vehicle. When he attempted to exit, Harley allegedly took off, partially dragging him on the street with the car, resulting in road rash, bruises, and blood.
Their 2-month-old daughter was in the backseat, and Harley was subsequently arrested.
In another 2019 incident, TMZ published a surveillance video that showed Ortiz-Magro leaving a nightclub with a bloodied face. Ortiz-Magro later filed a battery report, accusing Harley of throwing an ashtray at him.
