Cold Justice, Killer Relationship, and More Oxygen Shows Returning for New Seasons

It's a great time to be a true crime fan!

Oxygen True Crime confirmed nine fan-favorite shows have been renewed for new seasons. True crime staples Accident, Suicide, or Murder; Snapped; Snapped: Behind Bars; Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins; and Real Murders of Atlanta will return with new episodes later this year. Then, come 2025, Cold Justice, Prosecuting Evil, New York Homicide, and Fatal Family Feuds will be back for another round of fascinating cases.

Snapped Season 33

The return of Snapped is notable since 2024 marks 20 years since the series premiered. To commemorate the special anniversary, the 33rd Season will kick off with a 2-hour special exploring the case of Sharee Miller.

"[Twenty] years in the making, the Snapped special reexamines the Internet’s first murder trial, taking viewers back to the days of internet chat rooms and clever screen names, VHS tapes sent via snail mail, and a veritable scarcity of cell phones.  During this time, Sharee Miller, a twisted seductress with a skill for manipulation, is convicted of second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. After time in prison, she has a second chance at life and love when her story is examined on Snapped. What follows is a stunning final update in her case," a press release explained.

Snapped Season 33 will return Sunday, May 12 at 6/5c on Oxygen True Crime.

New Shows Coming Soon

In addition, the network confirmed there are seven new shows and specials on the horizon, including Deadly Waters with Captain Lee. The series, premiering Saturday, June 1 at 9/8c, will see the Below Deck captain narrate the series which "exposes the wicked intentions of those who thought committing crimes on the water would shield them from justice," read a press release.

Also coming this year: Dateline: The Smoking Club (Working Title); A Plan to Kill (WT); The Girl on the Milk Carton (WT); Philly Homicide (WT); The Alissa Turney Project (WT); and Serial Killer Capital: Los Angeles. The special Lady of the Dunes is set to premier in Winter 2025.

Notable among the newcomers is Dateline: The Smoking Club, a series about murder investigations that are "dangerously close to going cold until law enforcement uncover clues that ultimately lead to justice," according to the network. It will join other popular Dateline series Dateline: Secrets Uncovered and Dateline: Unforgettable.
