Finding human remains buried in a backyard is more common today than it was back in the 1980s, says Detective Donna Velazquez from the Pembroke Pines Police Department. Velazquez, who investigated the disappearance and murder of David Jackson, says killers bury their victims close to home so they can keep their eye on the remains and move them if necessary.
