Why Are Aquatic Cases So Misdiagnosed?

Aquatic expert Andrea Zaferes says that aquatic death cases are "probably some of the most misdiagnosed cases." Many of the deaths are misdiagnosed as accidents and suicides, and then later, some of them come to light as homicides. Murder victim Lisa Cutler was believed to have drowned in the bathtub at her home, but it was later discovered she had been killed by her husband, Chad Cutler.
