Farrah Abraham Reportedly Charged After Fight With Hotel Employee — But She Denies It
“Teen Mom” alum Farrah Abraham was arrested last month after an altercation with hotel staff at a Beverly Hills hotel.
Following a fight with a hotel employee, “Teen Mom” alum Farrah Abraham is facing multiple charges and potential jail time.
Abraham 27, was first arrested on June 13 after getting into an altercation with a male security officer at The Beverly Hills Hotel, Us Weekly reports.
The unidentified officer later told Us Weekly that the fight occurred after he spotted Abraham arguing with other guests and tried to intervene. The officer also said that Abraham struck him in the face, grabbed his ear, and pushed him, causing minor injuries. According to a police statement to Us Weekly, Abraham showed signs of intoxication during the investigation. Abraham was booked at the Beverly Hills Jail and was released the following morning on $500 bail, reports Us Weekly.
Abraham is now facing misdemeanor charges of battery and resisting, delaying, or obstructing a peace officer, Ricardo Santiago, spokesman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, told Us Weekly on July 16.
Abraham is reportedly due in court on August 13. If convicted, Abraham could be facing a maximum sentence of 18 months in jail, Santiago said.
Abraham denied the charges in a statement to Us Weekly, commenting, “It’s false and I’m not charged. … I’m not guilty of any trespassing or battery.”
Footage of Abraham’s arrest was obtained and published by TMZ last month. In the short video, Abraham can be heard repeatedly telling the assembled officers, “Go f*ck yourself.”
