Ray J Is Getting Sued For $30 Million Over A Scooter Business
A man named Jean Paul claims that Ray J screwed him over.
Ray J may be seeing the inside of a courtroom soon.
According to TMZ, the Love & Hip Hop star is being sued to the tune of $30 million by one of his former associates, a man by the name of Jean Paul, who describes himself as a "trendsetter, nature lover, and bike aficionado."
As Paul tells it, he and Ray J talked about starting a business marketing electric scooter bikes back in 2015. Paul claims that Ray J, who he says "arguably maintains a certain level of celebrity," agreed to become an investor and use his fame to promote the bikes as a celebrity endorser.
Paul went ahead and started the business, but he says that his former business partner then went behind his back and "secretly" launched another scooter business to compete with his, and now Paul wants Ray J to pay up.
Ray J has yet to comment publicly on the situation.
