'Heavyweights' Actor Joseph Wayne Miller Found Dead At 36
Miller was known for portraying Salami Sam in the classic family film.
Heavyweights actor Joseph Wayne Miller was found dead in his Chicago home on Tuesday.
While an official cause of death is still unknown, Miller's mother, Patricia Miller, tells TMZ that her son, who suffered from sleep apnea, died in his sleep and was later discovered by his girlfriend. He was 36 at the time of his death.
Fans of 90s pop culture will recognize Miller from his role as Salami Sam in the hit family film Heavyweights. The 1995 comedy about a group of kids at a weight loss camp was written and produced by Judd Apatow and starred Ben Stiller and Kenan Thompson.
