Burglar In China Accidentally Knocks Out His Partner With A Brick To The Face (Video)

Would-be thieves in China proved to be their own worst enemies, after surveillance cameras captured the two men bungling a burglary attempt.

In surveillance video released by Shanghai police, two men can be seen approaching a storefront window. Both of them are holding a brick, and when the first man tries to smash the window by hurling his brick at it, the brick bounces right off. While the first man goes to pick up his brick, the second man hurls his own brick at the window, but instead of hitting the window, it hits his buddy square in the head, knocking him out cold. It's then up to Burglar #2 to drag his partner's limp body away from the scene of the attempted crime.

The Shanghai Police Department posted the video onto the popular social media website Weibo, alongside the caption, "If all thieves were like this, police wouldn't have to work overtime."

The video has since been viewed over 15 million times, ABC reports.

The two men have yet to be identified but, whoever they are, they might want to stick to their day jobs. Check out their shenanigans in the clip below.
