Who Is The 'Hot' Nanny Jeff Lowe And His Wife Talk About In 'Tiger King And I' Aftershow?
Jeff Lowe and his wife, Lauren, both spoke to comedian Joel McHale about their thoughts on "Tiger King."
Over the weekend, Netflix released an aftershow installment of its hit docuseries "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness," featuring new interviews with subjects in the documentary conducted by comedian Joel McHale.
Two of the biggest figures in the docuseries, Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin, did not participate in the follow-up interview — but a number of the talking heads did, including the current owner of Exotic's zoo: Jeff Lowe and his wife, Lauren.
One of the first questions McHale asked the Lowes had nothing to do with Exotic, instead questioning him about a bizarre scene in the documentary where Jeff and then-pregnant Lauren are talking about hiring an attractive nanny for their soon-to-be-born baby. The two are in an open marriage, which was brought up in the docuseries on multiple occasions.
"How's the nanny working out? McHale asked.
"She's excellent," Jeff responded, with Lauren also proclaiming, "She's hot!"
McHale noted that a popular Google auto-complete he has been seeing is "Jeff Lowe nanny" following the release of "Tiger King."
In the now-penultimate episode of "Tiger King," the Lowes gave an interview while Lauren is about to give birth to a baby girl and Jeff explained they are hiring a nanny to help raise their daughter — with Jeff specifying he wants the nanny to be attractive.
"I said you can get a nanny as long as I can pick her," Jeff told the docuseries."If you're gonna bring in one, why not bring in one that's enjoyable to look at?"
Who Is The Nanny?
The nanny's name is Masha Diduk, and she appears to work as a Las Vegas-based model when not working for the Lowes. She is represented by MMG Model, Talent and Celebrity Management, according to her profile on the talent agency's website.
She has posted a number of pictures with animals at the zoo Jeff runs, according to her own Instagram page. Diduk is also featured on the Instagram account for the Lowes' zoo, posing with Lauren and Jeff with a caption proclaiming, "Our #hotnanny is here!!"
The zoo's account hasn't responded to previous requests for comment from Oxygen.com, but it is now branding itself as "Tiger King Park" on Instagram — apparently capitalizing on the docuseries' popularity.
Diduk works part-time for the Lowes and babysits their daughter, Sarah, she told TMZ in an interview. Her modeling work has dried up for the moment due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, so she has been mainly working with the Lowes for now, according to the outlet.
But the Lowes didn't just discuss lighthearted topics. In their interview with McHale, the Lowes also took issue with their portrayal in the docuseries, saying they felt they were made out to be villains in the saga of Joe Exotic.
Exotic is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for attempting to hire someone to kill Carole Baskin, an animal rights activist and longtime foe, alongside numerous violations of the Endangered Species Act.
"Tiger King" is currently available to stream on Netflix.
