Woman Enacts Deadly Revenge Plot to Get Back at Man Who Broke Up with Her Sister
U'Dreka Andrews claimed a revenge plot against her sister's ex, Mylon Lowe, simply went too far in Snapped: Killer Couples, but her fiancé, Danny Brown, said the deadly shooting was self-defense.
A sister out for revenge proved blood really is thicker than water when she seduced her sister’s ex-boyfriend, all so she and her fiancé could rob him and teach him a lesson. But that lesson proved deadly, as seen in the latest episode of Snapped: Killer Couples, airing Sundays at 6/5c on Oxygen.
Who Is Mylon Lowe?
When Mylon Lowe's family was unable to reach or contact him, his mother and friend Tim went to his Tallahassee, Florida apartment looking for him on July 12, 2005, only to find him dead inside.

The 24-year-old had a promising life ahead of him. Early in 2004, he began dating Latoya Henderson, who was a few months pregnant when they began a relationship. As the father of her child wasn’t in the picture, he took over the role of dad after the baby was born. Just as he settled into his new life, he found out he had a child with an ex-girlfriend in Alabama.
“He was very happy. He was very excited,” Bobby Lowe, Mylon’s brother, told Snapped: Killer Couples. “He was proud. I wouldn’t have been surprised if Mylon would have moved to Alabama to be with his child.”
But he never got the chance. Just two months after finding out he was a father, Lowe was murdered in his apartment.
Police Investigation into Mylon Lowe's Murder
Lowe was found dead on the floor of his bedroom, wearing only a pair of boxers. He had two gunshot wounds, according to police — in his right cheek and the top of his head. Police observed a torn condom wrapper and an unused condom near his body.
“The evidence at the scene, particularly the condom, certainly suggests Mr. Lowe was interrupted in the midst of some sort of sexual encounter when he was killed,” said Georgia Cappleman, Chief Assistant State Prosecutor, to Snapped: Killer Couples.
A gun owned by Lowe was missing from the murder scene, as well as his wallet and cell phone, and some jewelry and shoes.
Lowe’s friend Tim told police he spoke to Lowe around 1 a.m. the day he was killed, and heard a woman speaking in the background. Tim also told police Lowe had recently broken up with Latoya Henderson.
“He didn’t want to mess with it anymore,” Bobby Lowe said. “He wanted to go forward with his life. But it didn’t seem like she wanted to let him go."

Henderson’s mother, Bridgette Andrews, and sister, U’Dreka Andrews, told police the couple had been fighting — with Henderson slashing Lowe’s tires with a pocket knife out of anger.
“They had gotten into an argument,” Bridgette Andrews told Snapped: Killer Couples. “He didn’t want to have a conversation with her. And back then, during that time, when she’s mad — she’s really mad.”
But Henderson had an alibi for Lowe’s murder, eliminating her from the suspect list.
How a Cab Driver's Tip Changed Lowe Investigation
Just when officers were running into dead ends, a tip from a cab driver changed the course of the investigation for police.
“The cabbie indicated that he in fact had driven a man and woman to [Lowe’s apartment] on the night of the murder,” Cappleman said.
When police investigated the cab company’s call records, it showed the call came from someone named “Drek.” Police realized the call for the cab came from U’Dreka Andrews’ phone number.
Officers also ran a utility check on the address where the cab driver picked up the couple, and came up with the name Danny Brown. The cab driver was able to identify a picture of Brown as the man whom he picked up in the cab the night of the murder.

When police looked through Brown’s residence with a search warrant, they found damning evidence: Mylon Lowe’s cell phone, Lowe’s tennis shoes and Lowe’s jewelry. They also searched the laundry room of the apartment building and found Lowe’s gun hidden in the ceiling rafters.
Revenge Plan Went Deadly Wrong
Tallahassee police interrogated U’Dreka Andrews, and the 17-year-old said she’d been dating Brown since she was 14 and they were engaged. She admitted she was at Lowe’s apartment on the night of his murder, but insisted she was just buying marijuana and left soon after.
However, after further questioning, she admitted she wanted revenge against Lowe after he broke up with her sister, Latoya.
“The motive was two-fold,” Cappleman said. “It was both to rob Mr. Lowe, because Ms. Andrews was aware he had property of value and money inside, and also to teach him a lesson for disrespecting her sister.”
Police said Andrews and Brown hatched a plan for Andrews to seduce Lowe and get him off-guard, then Brown would come into the apartment with a firearm to rob and beat Lowe. Andrews told officers she was shocked when Brown came into the apartment with a gun.
“I’m like, ‘What the f-ck is he doing?’” Andrews told police in recorded audio. “He’s supposed to be jumping on the boy, fighting him. So, Lowe was going to get his gun. Click. And then boom.”
Andrews told officers Danny Brown shot Mylon Lowe twice, killing him.
“He was supposed to come in and rob Lowe, but I didn’t know he was going to shoot him,” she said in recorded police audio. “I didn’t know that it was going to go down like that. I was just scared.”
The couple then robbed Lowe, taking shoes, money, and his gun.
“They basically killed a man for 50 dollars,” said detective J.D. Hoover, a retired Tallahassee police officer, to Snapped: Killer Couples.
When Brown was interrogated, he told officers all of it was Andrews’ idea, and then claimed shooting Lowe was self-defense after Lowe tried to get his gun in a scuffle.
“But this story does not comport with the scientific evidence in this case at all,” Cappleman said. “The evidence to the contrary indicates that Mylon Lowe was murdered execution-style from someone standing over him while he was on the ground.”
U'Dreka Andrews and Danny Brown on Trial
Both Andrews and Brown were charged with the first-degree murder and robbery. They went on trial jointly in January 2007. The 17-year-old was tried as an adult.
“I don’t know how much Mylon could have done,” said Frank Sheffield, Danny Brown’s attorney, to Snapped: Killer Couples. “It was pretty much destined that somebody was going to die that day. That was kind of what the jury determined. Danny was armed, and [U’Dreka Andrews] knew he was armed.”
Besides arguing self-defense, Brown’s attorneys argued the plan was Andrews’.
“’D’ was trying to say that Drek was the mastermind of all of this,” said Ulysses Andrews, U’Dreka’s father, to Snapped: Killer Couples. “It really hurt me because I couldn’t believe my child did something as stupid as that. And I still don’t believe that was the case.”
A jury convicted both Andrews and Brown on all counts, and sentenced them both to life in prison without the possibility of parole. But in 2019, Florida changed the law for juveniles who commit murder, and a judge sentenced Andrews to 45 years in prison, then the possibility of release.
Lowe’s family was devastated, with his brother saying, "He [doesn't] get to come back after 45 years.”
“Mylon was 24 years old,” said Latorsha Lowe, Mylon’s sister-in-law, to Snapped: Killer Couples. “He was just figuring out life. He just found his kid. You know, his life was just beginning.”
But Andrews’ family hopes she’ll take her second chance to help others one day.
“I lost my sister, I lost my man — I’m just kind of broken,” said Latoya Henderson to Snapped: Killer Couples. “And even though my sister did what she did, I do feel like she deserves another chance.”
U’Dreka Andrews will be eligible for parole in 2046, at the age of 58.
