Man Allegedly Takes Too Much Viagra, Gets Naked And Throws Feces Around Airport
“This was the scariest and most disgusting thing I ever saw at an airport," said a witness.
New Yorker Steve Cho, 27, was arrested at Phuket International Airport after allegedly disrobing and throwing his feces at onlookers while waiting for a connecting flight to Incheon, South Korea.
According to Fox News, Cho was taken to a hospital for a psychological evaluation after the January 4 episode. It took six security staff to apprehend Cho, who was spotted meandering through the departure area of the airport. Cho could be heard spewing word salad during the ordeal.
“This was the scariest and most disgusting thing I ever saw at an airport. I stayed away from the man in case he attacked anybody," said onlooker Wannee Ming, a traveler who witnessed the scene.
When Cho became more coherent after being moved to a more secluded area of the airport, he admitted to having taken too much Viagra.
“To control the situation and to prevent any danger that might happen to other passengers, the officers had to arrest the man. The officers brought him to the walkway on the north side of the terminal to avoid other passengers and managed to calm him down at the Tourist Center on the first floor," said a statment from Phuket International Airport.
"He accepted responsibility to reimburse for any damages that he caused. His trip to Incheon was cancelled and he was brought to Saku Police Station for further investigation. However, we would like to insist that the officers did not harm the man when arresting him and a strict code of conduct was followed,” the statement continued.
