Bride Beats Up Wedding Crasher After He Gropes Teen Guests In Attempt To 'Get Laid'
He told police he "probably deserved it."
A bride took matters into her own hands after she spotted a wedding crasher groping her teenage guests. William Dickinson, 25, snuck into a wedding reception in Eau Claire, Wisconsin over the weekend and groped multiple teen girls, according to the Leader-Telegram. He allegedly tried to dance with two girls, age 17 and 18, according to the Lacrosse Tribune. He also allegedly touched them inappropriately.
A 14-year-old girl witnessed the alleged groping and came to the other teen girls’ aid. It was then that Dickson allegedly pulled that younger teen’s hair. By that point, many guests at the reception noticed what was going on and most were pretty angry. Dickinson told police he didn’t know why the guests were mad. He admitted he had been drinking.
According to police, the bride’s father retaliated by punching Dickinson, who fought back. After their fist fight, Dickinson approached the bride to apologize. He told her he “hoped he didn’t ruin her party,” a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun stated.
The bride did not accept Dickinson’s apology at all. Instead, she began punching Dickinson in the face. Dickinson didn’t seem shocked by her reaction. Instead, he apparently later told police that he “probably deserved it.” He also allegedly told the cops that he enjoys fighting people.
On Monday, he was charged with physical abuse of a child, misdemeanor fourth-degree sexual assault and other charges It’s unclear if he has a lawyer who can speak on his behalf. One of Dickinson’s friends, who crashed the wedding with him, told police that their goal of the night was to “get laid.”
