Arkansas Woman Tells Police She Killed Her Husband Over Porn Purchase
Patricia Hill told police that she shot-and-killed her husband after he bought porn on demand.
An Arkansas woman was arrested on Saturday when she admitted to police that she killed her husband after he purchased pornography.
Patricia Hill called the Jefferson County Police Saturday afternoon and told them that she shot her husband, according to a police statement.
Police responded to the call and found husband Frank Hill shot to death in a utility shed on the property. The wife was standing in her front lawn waiting for police when they arrived and was immediately taken into custody.
While in custody, Hill, 69, told police that earlier that day she had confronted her husband about pornography that he had purchased on their television, police said.
“Mrs. Hill stated that she disagreed with her husband’s purchase of video pornography via the television guide, which she cancelled upon discovering the purchase,” Major Lafayette Woods of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said. “But Mr. Hill managed to place a subsequent order.”
Hill told police when she couldn't get her husband to leave the shed, she went inside and got a .22 caliber handgun. She came back out soon after and shot her husband once in the leg and once in the head, police said.
Immediately after the shooting, Hill put the gun back inside the home and then called police, officials said.
The 65-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics.
Hill is being held in the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center without bond pending her first court appearance. She is being held on felony probable cause for capital murder for the shooting.
