Couple Allegedly Lived With Dead Rapper In Their New York Home For A Year
Brandyn Dayne Foster, who performed under the name Brandyn Dayne, went missing in January 2017.
A couple in upstate New York allegedly killed an up-and-coming rapper, who once dated one of the suspects, and then lived with his corpse in their rental home up for more than a year.
Brandyn Dayne Foster, who performed under the name Brandyn Dayne, went missing in January 2017. Police believe that Carlos Graham, 31, killed Foster the day he disappeared, according to Hudson Valley 360. Graham and his girlfriend Sade Knox hid the body in their Catskills home, police said. Foster’s car was dumped outside a casino in Connecticut.
Graham has been held without bail and is due in court this week to face second-degree murder charges. Knox pleaded not guilty to concealment of a corpse, grand larceny and other related charges in February.
Foster was a neighbor of the couple and also Knox's ex-boyfriend, according to WTEN in Albany. It is unclear if that had anything to do with a potential motive. Police have not revealed how Foster was killed.
Foster’s remains were found in February at the couple’s home, even though police first searched the property for signs of the rapper as far back as October, according to the Daily Freeman in Kingston.
Months after he went missing, Foster’s family offered a $20,000 reward for any information that could lead to finding him.
Foster had been making music for at least five years and his social media presence shows he had a budding following. Foster's music videos on YouTube have thousands of views and he had over seven-thousand fans on Facebook. The above selfie was the last public photo he posted on his Twitter and Facebook.
“I live every second like it’s the final minute,” he raps in one video posted on his Facebook page.
According to his Twitter posts, he also appeared to be a father.
