Scott Peterson Speaks for the First Time in Decades — Where to Watch the New Docuseries
Scott Peterson became one of the most notorious figures of the 21st century after the murders of his wife, Laci, and their unborn son, Conner.
In November 2004, Scott Peterson was convicted of murdering his wife, Laci Peterson, and their unborn child, Conner, putting an end to one of the most infamous trials of the decade. Now, for the first time in decades, Scott Peterson, who has continued to maintain his innocence while carrying out his life sentence in prison, has given on-camera interviews about the case.
These interviews will be featured in Face to Face with Scott Peterson, a three-part docuseries premiering exclusively on Peacock on August 20. Heres what to know about the series before it premieres:
What happens in Face to Face with Scott Peterson?
"It was a case that captivated the country. At eight months pregnant, Laci Peterson went missing on Christmas Eve, 2002. As the investigation unfolded, her husband, Scott, was revealed to be a liar, a cheater, and ultimately a murderer. The world’s media hung on every moment of the trial, and Scott was convicted and sentenced to death. Case closed. Or is it?" reads a press release for the upcoming series. "While many still believe the jury got it right, Scott’s family and experts close to the case have spent over 20 years committed to uncovering inconsistencies in the evidence as well as finding new information around alternative theories surrounding Laci’s murder."
Face to Face with Scott Peterson also includes an exclusive series of intimate conversations between Director Shareen Anderson (the executive producer of The Murder of Laci Peterson) and Peterson, along with his sister-in-law Janey Peterson, former Modesto Police Department lead detective Al Brocchini and detective Jon Buehler, Scott’s former defense attorney Lara Yeretsian, and former ABC News Producer Mike Gudgell, among others.
it will also follow the latest turns in the case, as the Los Angeles Innocence Project made headlines when it announced it would be taking on Scott's case earlier this year. The organization has "filed motions seeking DNA testing and post-conviction discovery" on behalf of Scott Peterson, according to its website.
Where can I watch or stream Face to Face with Scott Peterson?
