Gripping Trailer for World's Most Notorious Killers Highlights Shocking Crimes, Body Counts: "Like a Horror Movie"

Peacock's latest true crime docuseries travels the globe to reveal the chilling stories of five renowned international murder cases, from killings by England's Fred and Rose West to Australia's Christopher Dawson.

Peacock's latest true crime docuseries, World's Most Notorious Killerstravels the globe to reveal the chilling stories of five renowned international murder cases, and will feature firsthand accounts from individuals close to each case and those seeking justice.

The five-part unscripted series details infamous international crimes, including those committed by “The Serpent” Charles Sobhraj in Southeast Asia. Sobhraj, a convicted murderer who is now free, gives a U.S. exclusive interview in the series "to reveal a shocking new story," according to Peacock.

"I was the second most wanted man in the world," Sobhraj says in a new trailer for World's Most Notorious Killers. "The scene was like a horror movie."

What is Peacock's World's Most Notorious Killers about?  

Peacock’s new true crime docuseries, World’s Most Notorious Killers, follows the chilling stories of five shocking international murder investigations of recent times. Each episode will re-examine a different case from some of the most infamous criminals across the globe, and will feature firsthand accounts from former detectives, family members, lawyers, forensic scientists and journalists, all dedicated to bringing these murders to justice.

The docuseries premieres on Peacock on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. All of the five 80-minute episodes will drop at once.

101: "THE WEST MURDERS" – The case of a missing girl leads to a gruesome discovery: a graveyard of bones beneath the house of Fred and Rose West in Gloucester, England and several twisted family secrets.  
 
102: "THE VIENNA STRANGLER" – A perplexing series of deaths in Vienna, Austria are linked to murders in Los Angeles, California. Austrian celebrity Jack Unterweger is unmasked as the world’s first transatlantic serial killer, whose been reporting on his own murders and hiding in plain sight all along. 
 
103: "THE MONSTER OF BELGIUM" – Six Belgian girls mysteriously go missing at the hands of "The Monster." But soon, people begin to suspect that Belgium's infamous serial killer may be working for a powerful international pedophile ring.   
 
104: "THE MURDER DOWN UNDER" – Lynette Dawson, a loving wife and mother, disappears from her Australian home in 1982; days later, her husband, Christopher Dawson, moves their teenage babysitter into their home. It will be 40 years before the case is finally solved. 
 
105: "THE SERPENT" – Tourists in Southeast Asia are mysteriously killed, and Charles Sobhraj confesses to the horrific murders. Convicted murderer Sobhraj, now a free man, speaks out in an U.S. exclusive interview to reveal a shocking new story.
