Six teenagers faced the death penalty after confessing to the brutal gang rape and murder of friends 14-year-old Jennifer Ertman and 16-year-old Elizabeth Peña.
Blanchard, released on parole after serving time for planning the killing of her abusive mother, reportedly has post-prison plans that include a "spa day," Christmas presents, "first date," and eating gumbo.
"Nobody will ever hear me say I'm glad she's dead or I'm proud of what I did," Blanchard says of plotting her allegedly abusive mom Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard's murder.
"Both have a history of domestic violence incidents," the sheriff's office stated of missing Jamilla Smith, and Daniel Harmon, who's charged with her murder.
"Things will never be the same ever again," a brother of murder victim Veronica Aguilar wrote in an online fundraiser. "We miss her so much. She had the best spirit."
"My mother's death was not natural, nor peaceful," Connecticut news anchor Heidi Voight revealed in July. "My mother was murdered, violently, in the place she should have felt safest — her own home."
Matt Baker reported his wife overdosed on pills, purportedly because of the untimely passing of their toddler daughter. The parents of Kari Baker, however, didn't believe things pointed to a suicide.
