Jacqulyn Kirkpatrick was sentenced after pleading guilty to second degree murder and child abuse charges and agreeing to testify against the child's father.

“She was a beautiful person,” Chquita Bell-Craig said of her sister, Andris Wofford, who was fatally shot in northwest Chicago on Dec. 16. 

Brent Monroe Hanson allegedly told the local police chief that he beat his brother to death with a baseball bat, then killed his brother's pregnant wife the next day with a machete.

Brendon Owen was subject to a restraining order at the time of the alleged attack on his ex-wife and her mother.

One of the killers behind the murder of the Duke and Hunt family "had absolutely no emotion, no feeling, no remorse, no nothing" while confessing to the slaughter.

Xiomara Engel had just wanted out of her abusive marriage and to get on with her life. Her ex-husband, William Engel, and his brother had other ideas.

“It is one of the most horrific cases that I have seen as the sitting sheriff,” Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said. “This is one of the worst cases we’ve seen. It’s horrible that we didn’t know about the actual situation going on in the house.”

“This is a case of just bitterness,” former NFL running back Zac Stacy told police at Orlando International Airport on Nov. 18 despite there being footage of the attack.  

“You are a murderer and you are a liar and the jury saw through all the lies and I see through all the lies," Judge David Newblatt told Harris during sentencing.

After killing former girlfriend Tara Labang, Rajaee Shareef Black complained about custody issues and allegations he molested his kids before murdering his ex-wife Wendy Natalie Black.
