'Is He In Pain?' Mom of Man Who Vanished Mysteriously In December Is Looking For Answers
Taylour Young, 25, disappeared Dec. 9 while on a lunch break and his concerned family hasn't heard from him since.
A Texas mother whose son mysteriously vanished in December is very concerned about his well-being.
Taylour Young, 25 disappeared in Houston on Dec. 9 during a lunch break from work, local news station KTRK reports. He was last spotted driving his 2019 silver Honda Civic near a Capital One Bank in Houston.
"I have my moments when I ask, 'Did he eat? Is he in pain? Is he cold?' Normal mother stuff," Tiffany Robinson, Young's mother, told People this week.
Robinson's last contact with her son was when he texted her a picture of his dog around 11:30 a.m. the previous day, she said.
“On Wednesday, Dec. 8, he sent me a cute picture of his dog, Gigi, with Christmas antlers on her head," Robinson told People. But her attempts to contact him the next day went unanswered.
"I didn't think anything of it initially because sometimes he doesn't pick up right away. I texted and asked, 'Are you at work?' but I meant to say 'Are you at home?'"
Her son’s girlfriend then made contact with her. She'd been unable to get in touch with Young as well and, concerned, the pair tracked his phone using Find My Phone. Robinson told People they found her son's phone in some bushes near the bank, adding that she doesn't know what he was doing there.
"I know something happened, and I just feel like he is in danger," Tiffany Robinson told KTRK last year.
The worried mother created the hashtag #bringtaylourhome to draw attention to Young’s disappearance. People across the nation have taken notice: rapper Cardi B recently shared a missing poster for Young to her Instagram. Robinson thanked her for the gesture.
Young worked in accounting after graduating from Sam Houston State University. He was last seen wearing a blue Billionaire Boys Club sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. He has a tattoo of the Tasmanian devil on his right, front calf and a fleur de lis tattoo with a snake on his right, back calf. He is about 5 feet 11 inches tall, and has short, black hair and brown eyes. He weighs around 160 pounds. His Civic has a black trunk and a crack in the windshield on the passenger's side. The car has the Texas license plate MDC-9337.
“A car and a person can't just fall off the face of the earth,” Robinson told People.
She described her missing son as someone who was always "humble" and who “loves helping people.”
"He is so loved. I've had his coworkers tell me funny stories,” she said. “I didn't know Taylour would go to Whole Foods and play bingo with senior citizens, but a colleague of his told me that. I thought that was so funny and just the perfect example of the nice boy he is."
Anyone with any information is urged to call the Houston Police Department missing person's unit at 832-394-1840. The case number is 1649758-21.
