Florida Woman Is Accused Of Sexually Abusing Teen And Having His Twins
The teen, who was allegedly just 15 years old when the sexual abuse began, told investigators it often occurred when Spring Turner was high on marijuana.
A 41-year-old Florida woman has been accused of sexually abusing a teen boy repeatedly before giving birth to his twins.
Spring Turner has been arrested and charged with sexual battery and engaging in sexual conduct with a minor 12-18 years old after authorities said she sexually abused a young boy, beginning when the teen was just 15 years old, according to The Daytona Beach News-Journal.
An investigation into Turner began after the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office received information from Amber Montgomery, described as a friend of the family, who reported the illicit relationship and told authorities that Turner had gotten pregnant by the teen when he was 17 years old.
The victim, who was reportedly living in the same home as Turner at the time, allegedly confirmed the relationship and said the abuse often occurred when Turner was high on marijuana, local station WKMG reports.
He estimated the abuse had occurred on at least 20 occasions over two or three years, often at night or after school, records obtained by the station said.
The teen allegedly told authorities he did not like having sex with Turner but had been threatened that he would be kicked out of the home if he didn’t agree.
The teen also claimed the last time the pair had sex was on July 4, 2018 and that Turner got pregnant with twins during that encounter.
Authorities said Turner told them that other people had told her she had sex with the teen when she was drunk but that she didn’t remember doing that herself, the local station reported.
She also claimed that she didn’t know who the father of the twins was; however, a DNA test would later confirm the teen had been the father, according to WKMG.
Turner is currently being held on $25,000 bail at the Volusia County Branch Jail.
