Family Secrets: The Disappearance of Alissa Turney

The new Oxygen documentary takes a deep dive into the unresolved case of Alissa Turney, who mysteriously vanished in 2001.

"It's really a story about how victims can find a new way to take control of the narrative," director Jesse Sweet said of the documentary, which features interviews with Alissa's sister Sarah.

Alissa Turney vanished the last day of her junior year in high school after going to lunch with her stepfather, who has been accused of causing the missing woman harm.

The new Oxygen special will see the missing woman's sister, Sarah Turney, confront their father about the 2001 disappearance.
