Brian Michael Rini reportedly told authorities he was missing child Timmothy Pitzen, who would be 14 today. DNA testing proved this claim false.

Brian Rini is accused of attempting to lie about everything from toilet paper to prison rape.

Brian Rini, 23, has been charged with making a false statement to federal agents. 

“I do not think he is dead. And as long as he’s alive, there’s always a possibility that we’ll find him, or he’ll find us,” Linda Pitzen said.

“It’s been awful,” said Alana Anderson, Timmothy's grandmother, after a 23-year-old man falsely claimed he was the boy who disappeared in 2011 at the age of 6.

“He has Asperger’s, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, the list goes on,” Brian Rini's brother, Jonathan, claims.

The FBI says DNA testing ruled out the man, Brian Michael Rini, as being Timmothy Pitzen, missing from Aurora, Illinois.
