The man accused of abducting and killing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts reportedly was employed under a fake name.

"It was everything that’s dark and wrong in America right now," Rob Tibbetts said of the robocall placed by a white nationalist group.

“He would just stare. He wouldn’t really, like, talk,” she said of Cristhian Rivera, the man charged with murdering the 20-year-old University of Iowa student.

Cristhian Rivera will now be represented by a husband and wife legal team as he faces charges of murdering the 20-year-old University of Iowa student. 

"Today we need to turn the page. We're at the end of a long ordeal," said Rob Tibbetts, who called his slain daughter his "hero."

“One life is too many,” Kim Reynolds told reporters, her voice breaking as she recalled the devastating phone conversation.

A preliminary autopsy report Thursday shed light on how the 20-year-old University of Iowa student was slain.

The discovery of Mollie Tibbetts' body ended an extensive search, with many twists and turns.

“Mollie’s death is not political propaganda to bring up your 'build the wall' bulls--t," her cousin said. 

Jake Tibbetts told the crowd of hundreds that his sister was “someone who would have made friends with every single person in this crowd tonight if she could."
