The grandparents of Joshua "JJ" Vallow said their only hope is that the 7-year-old boy and his 17-year-old sister Tylee Ryan "died without pain or suffering."
The human remains located at the home of Lori Vallow's fifth husband are believed to be those of children, a prosecutor revealed in court, though there's no confirmation they belong to Tylee Ryan or J.J. Vallow.
Human remains were found at an Idaho home connected to Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell. Vallow has been unable to produce her missing kids despite an order from a judge.
“If they’re in a safe place, why is (Lori) in Hawaii having a great time on her honeymoon when her children are hiding for safety?" Melanie Gibb asked of Lori Vallow's missing children.
“We would like everyone to know that today (May 25th) is J.J. Vallow’s 8th Birthday and that we continue to hope and pray for a safe return of both of these beautiful children each and every day,” Rexburg (Idaho) police wrote on social media.
"I don’t know if she’s going to flee with them, if she’s going to hurt them,” Charles Vallow told a Gilbert Police officer about his wife in January 2019. “Today she said on the phone ‘Come take the kids, I don’t care what happens to them.’”
Lori Vallow’s sister said the imprisoned mother has been unable to tell her family the current whereabouts of the Tylee Ryan and Joshua “JJ” Vallow because everything in jail is recorded and she can't talk about the case.
“We are aware of Mr. Ryan’s death and it has become part of the investigation into Lori Vallow,” an FBI source said of Idaho mom, who has failed to cooperate with authorities about her two missing children.
“I’m thankful she doesn’t see JJ…She wants him and for me to disappear. Seriously…,” Charles Vallow allegedly texted a friend just months before he would be killed, followed soon after by son JJ's disappearance.
