Lori Vallow’s former husband, Charles, had claimed that she believed she was a "god" and the world would end in July 2020. 

Lori Vallow’s attorney is requesting her $1 million bond in Madison County, Idaho, be lowered now that the two felony charges she'd been facing were dropped earlier this month. Vallow also faces charges in Fremont County. 

Lori Vallow told friend Melanie Gibb that she concocted a story about having cancer in order to convince JJ Vallow's grandmother to care for him, Gibb recounted to authorities.

Earlier this week, investigators were seen leaving Chad Daybell's home with evidence bags.

Although Lori Vallow remains behind bars, she hasn't been charged directly in the deaths of her kids, J.J. Vallow and Tylee Ryan.

"Tylee and JJ are completely irreplaceable in our family. I have loved them greatly all of their lives," Summer Cox Shiflet said on Facebook.

At the time Chad Daybell first spoke to police officers about the disappearance of Lori Vallow’s missing children, the couple had been married for several weeks.

Investigators determined that Alex Cox, the uncle of Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow, was on Chad Daybell's property – where the children's bodies were found earlier this month – around the time they disappeared. 

Alexcia Law, who once considered Lori Vallow to be like a "second mom," said she remembers Vallow talking about the end of the world "all the time" but dismissed her comments as a joke. 

The discovery ends a months-long search for Tylee Ryan, 17, and Joshua “JJ” Vallow, 7, who both disappeared in September and are just two of several mysterious deaths surrounding Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell.
