Gary Van Ryswyk has been charged with practicing medicine without a license resulting in bodily injury after deputies showed up to his home and allegedly found a man holding a bloody towel to his groin and a "pink container which held two body parts."

Todd Beavers was dragging a discarded dump cart back to his home, but another man apparently thought he'd already rightfully claimed it, according to authorities.

“I think it was a matter of pure mercy,” the prosecutor said of the Florida jury's decision to spare Grant Amato the death penalty. 

Mitchell Helton is being held on $5,000 bond in Manatee County for his alleged threats to two furniture delivery men.

John Bloodsworth later told an officer he was “going to jail for being awesome.”

Authorities say Alex Bonilla went to his neighbor's home, held him at gunpoint and tied him up before the horrific maiming.
