California Mom And 1-Year-Old Son Listed As 'Critical Missing' After Woman's Mother Reported Receiving Strange Texts
Mylinna Linder was last seen with her son Montana at a Santa Ana Park.
Santa Ana Police are looking for a 19-year-old woman and her 1-year-old son after the missing woman’s mother reported receiving strange text messages from her daughter’s phone.
Mylinna Linder, 19, and her young son, Montana Linder, were last seen Nov. 26 around 3 p.m. in Jerome Park in Santa Ana, according to a statement from police.
Mylinna’s mother Lyana Linder told local station KTLA that she had dropped the pair off at the park that day, but the next day she received strange text messages from her daughter’s phone that seemed to be written by someone else.
One of the messages said that Mylinna was with her boyfriend and that the two were fine and staying with friends.
Police believe Mylinna is with her boyfriend, identified by authorities as “Vincent,” but have listed the 19-year-old and her son as “critical missing” due to the child's age. Vincent is reportedly driving a champagne-colored late 90’s four-door Toyota Camry and is possibly in San Bernardino.
Lyana told KTLA that her daughter’s aspiring rapper boyfriend, who goes by the name “Lil Sneek,” told her that Mylinna had disappeared Tuesday after she left to get gas when the couple’s car broke down along the freeway while on their way to San Bernardino.
He also told her that the child has not with Mylinna when she disappeared.
Authorities are asking that anyone who may have information about the missing woman or her son to contact police.
Mylinna has been described as 5’4” tall, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Montana is said to have curly black hair and brown eyes.
