Man Allegedly Broke Girlfriend’s Jaw, Carved His Name Into Her Forehead
Catalina Mireles said she thought Jackub Hildreth was going to kill her and was just figuring out what to do with her body.
A Texas man with multiple face tattoos is accused of beating his girlfriend and carving part of his name onto her forehead.
Jackub Jackson Hildreth, 19, allegedly brutally beating a woman for hours inside a San Antonio apartment Thursday night into Friday morning, according to local outlet KSAT.
Catalina Mireles, 22, told KSAT she thought that Hildreth, whom she met over Facebook, was going to kill her.
“He was going to put [me] in the closet until he figured out what he was going to do with my body,” she told the outlet, struggling to speak and with an extremely swollen face due to the injuries she sustained.
The two had been dating for just three weeks.
“Don’t trust anybody,” Mireles told KSAT.
During a fight over their relationship, Hildreth allegedly punched her more than 10 times with a closed fist, breaking her jaw in three places, according to an affidavit obtained by KSAT. He also allegedly carved part of his name into her forehead with a knife.
Hildreth himself has multiple words carved onto his face, including the phrase, “blessed” on his left cheek. He also apparently has Mireles' name –– "Catalina" –– on his forehead as well.
Hildreth was arrested Friday and has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. It’s not clear if he has a lawyer who can speak on his behalf.
Allegations of violence are nothing new to Hildreth. He has two outstanding warrants for assault-related charges, according to MySA.
"I don't ever want him to get out again because he's going to hurt somebody else again,” Juanita Lopez, Mireles' mother, told KSAT.
