Investigators believe that Isabel Hicks, who was last seen at her home, may be in the company of a much older man named Bruce Lynch.
Officials in Virginia are desperately searching for a missing teen girl who they believe could be in the company of a much older man.
Isabel Hicks, 14, was last seen Monday in her own home in Louisa County, the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
“It is believed that she may be in the company of Bruce Lynch of Bumpass, VA,” they noted. It's not clear where they think the two may be or headed to.
Hicks is described as a white girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, who stands at 4’11” tall and weighs between 120 and 130 pounds. She was last seen at 1:00 a.m. on October 21, 2019 in her residence.
Lynch, 34, is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. He has a beard, stands at 5’10” tall, and weighs about 190 lbs.
Lynch is believed to be have been driving a silver blue Toyota Matrix, with a Virginia license plate VEM-9071.
The sheriff’s office shared a photo of both Hicks and Lynch together, along with a photo of a vehicle with a similar make and color, both on Facebook and on Instagram.
It’s unclear what Lynch’s relationship is to Hicks.
A man who has identified himself as Hicks’ sister has claimed on Facebook that Lynch has kidnapped his sibling.
“I just need to find my littler sister [sic],” he pleaded as he urged for people in his community to call him if they have information.
