Woman Allegedly Plotted To Kill Ex-Partner's Unborn Child
Haley Raborn is facing multiple charges after allegedly targeting a woman who was pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's child.
A Florida woman has been arrested for allegedly trying to kill the unborn child of her ex-boyfriend by means of an abortion pill, deputies say.
Haley Ann Raborn, 21, was taken into custody last week in Hernando County, Florida and was charged with one count each of solicitation for the killing of an unborn child by injury to mother, attempted killing of an unborn child by injury to mother and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, according to Pasco County criminal records.
In a June 2 press release from the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was 11 weeks pregnant at the time she called the sheriff’s office to report the threat.

According to the victim, she was contacted by her ex-fiancé, who admitted to her that Raborn had been messaging him to take part in the plot to kill the victim’s unborn child.
The investigation revealed that Raborn was previously in a romantic relationship with the father of the victim’s unborn child.
The former fiancé of the victim provided evidence of Snapchat messages between he and Raborn, which detailed Raborn’s “premeditated instructions” of how to commit the crime, as well as providing a form of compensation to the ex-fiancé in the form of Apple AirPods, authorities said.
The victim’s former fiancé told authorities that he met with Raborn after receiving her messages and was given the “pill” with which she wanted the crime to be carried out.
According to the release, the ex-fiancé turned over the pill to investigators following the meeting with Raborn.
In the course of the investigation, detectives discovered a fake Facebook account allegedly controlled by Raborn, through which she posed as the victim, using her name and photo.
Investigators allege, after reviewing the messages sent from the account, that it was used by Raborn to tamper with the investigation.
The victim eventually obtained a restraining order against Raborn “given the victim’s well-found fear of Raborn,” the release stated
In a meeting with detectives at her residence on May 9, as the release further details, Raborn allegedly admitted to her plot to kill the victim’s baby with an abortion pill, saying she obtained the pill from a virtual doctor online and knew that it was used for abortions.
The Sheriff County’s release also stated that, after some hesitancy, Raborn also eventually admitted to creating the fake Facebook account under the victim’s name.
“Raborn showed little to no remorse for planning to have the unborn child murdered,” the press release stated.
Hernando County Sheriff’s detectives, with the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, arrested Raborn June 1, where she is now being held in Pasco County Jail on a $105,000 bond.
