Prosecutors disclosed the information to the defense after they became aware of "potential Brady/Giglio material" related to an unnamed officer involved in the quadruple homicide investigation.
The home where Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin were murdered will be demolished in an effort to heal the community, University of Idaho President Scott Green has announced.
Authorities in two Pennsylvania counties have confirmed they re-examined their cold cases looking for any potential ties to Bryan Kohberger, after his arrest in December for the murder of four University of Idaho students.
“He wouldn’t look away if you caught him staring,” one student said of her alleged encounter with Bryan Kohberger. "He didn’t smile, didn’t nod, didn’t say anything. Just stared.”
“I am heartbroken because I trusted her,” Xana Kernodle's mom said after learning public defender Anne Taylor dropped her unrelated legal case to represent Bryan Kohberger.
Bryan Kohberger allegedly made the comments as a teenager in an online forum devoted to those suffering from a neurological condition known as visual snow.
During a Dec. 30 search of Bryan Kohberger's Washington apartment, authorities recovered a black glove, store receipts, dust container from a vacuum, possible hair strands, computer tower and items stained with a reddish brown substance.
“He slid into one of the girls’ DMs several times but she didn’t respond,” a source close the investigation told People Magazine. “Basically, it was just him saying, ‘Hey how are you?’ But he did it again and again.”
