The mysterious murder of Michigan singer Egypt Covington would take years to solve, divide a community, and rip apart a family.

Heather Strube was fatally shot just feet from her toddler by "a murderer wearing a disguise," confusing witnesses and investigators before they focused on the shocking suspect.

The killing was a "murder based on obsession and delusion," Dateline correspondent Dennis Murphy said.       

Michelle Troconis, the girlfriend of Fotis Dulos, was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and other charges in the 2019 death of Connecticut mom Jennifer Dulos.
