The "very senior" Brooklyn Center officer who shot Daunte Wright during the traffic stop had shouted "Taser! Taser! Taser!" before firing a single gunshot at the car as it sped away, according to police officials.
Brooklyn Center police said officers pulled Daunte Wright over around 2 p.m. Sunday and attempted to take him into custody after determining he had an outstanding warrant; however, Wright got back into his car and an officer opened fire.
