Geovanni Borjas, 37, was implicated in the 2011 killings of Michelle Lozano, 17, and Bree’Anna Guzman, 22, after investigators collected DNA from his saliva when he spit on a sidewalk.
“I prayed for many years that this day would come,” Maurice Hastings told reporters after spending nearly four decades in prison for the 1983 murder and sexual assault of Roberta Wydermyer.
“We have to assume he is armed,” interim Police Chief Daniel Oates said of 21-year-old wanted fugitive Joseph Casterona, who is accused of killing four.
Kevin Ray Moore, 42, died in a murder-suicide incident on Oct. 16, but police believe he was behind the murders of Camila Behrensen and Pablo Guzmán Palma as well as the arson of their apartment on Oct. 1.
“There are numerous allegations that are very severe and barbaric in nature,” prosecutors said following the arrest of Pennsylvania dad John Edward Kraft.
Prosecutors allege that Dr. Saul Lipsman sexually assaulted the 61-year-old victim in March, and say that she wasn't the first patient he'd assaulted in his practice.
Prosecutors must still decide whether Robert Telles could face the death penalty if convicted in the allegedly premeditated fatal stabbing of Las Vegas investigative reporter Jeff German.
