A woman extradited from South Korea made her first court appearance in New Zealand Wednesday after the bodies of her two children were found in abandoned suitcases.
Melissa Highsmith, abducted at 21 months old from her Texas home, was recently found by her biological family. She says she never was close to the woman she believed to be her mother.
