Get Ready For More Jaw-Dropping Twists: 'An Unexpected Killer' Season 2 Premieres This January
In Oxygen's series "An Unexpected Killer," the culprit is a shock for detectives — and viewers.
In some true crime media, it seems obvious from the get-go who the suspects are, and sometimes even who the real culprit is. That's not the case with Oxygen's "An Unexpected Killer," though, which shocks viewers with each episode's reveal.
The premiere of Season 2 of "An Unexpected Killer" will air on Friday, Jan. 15 at 8/7c on Oxygen. In the compelling and astonishing series, each standalone episode takes viewers along on a jaw-dropping murder investigation, where the killer ends up being someone detectives — and viewers — least expect. "An Unexpected Killer" features interviews with potential suspects and experienced investigators, in-depth examinations of the crime scene, and re-enactments to truly bring each shocking case to life.
Whether it's a new witness, an overlooked piece of evidence, or even an innovation in forensic science, in each episode detectives find a startling discovery that sends the investigation in a completely new direction in their search for justice.
In the Season 2 premiere episode, a successful TV producer and mother of one is found shot dead in her upscale home. Suspicion falls on her soon-to-be-ex-husband, but his airtight alibi leads detectives to question other potential suspects. Just when the tenacious detectives believe they have a break in the case, they’re faced with a shocking and unforeseen surprise in a truly twisted investigation.
Tune in to Oxygen on Fridays at 8/7c to watch the show or stream episodes the day after they premiere on Oxygen.com.
"An Unexpected Killer" is produced by Our House Media with Simon Lloyd, Matt Hanna, Samantha De France, Tom Adams, and Carey Zeiser serving as Executive Producers.
