“We wanted him to stand in open court and admit to intentionally causing her death and that’s exactly what he did,” Commonwealth Attorney Andy Sims said of David Sparks' guilty plea.

At a hearing for suspect David Sparks, a detective went into chilling details about how the missing Kentucky mother's body was discovered.

A heavily decomposed body was found buried at the home of David Sparks, one of the men last seen with the missing mother of four, authorities say.

“There’s a lot of people who love Savannah who just can’t imagine life without her,” Spurlock's uncle, Mark Thoma, said.

It's been more than a month since the young mother of four was last seen leaving a Lexington, Kentucky bar with three men.

“No matter how intoxicated she would have been, she would not have been willing to go with strangers to Garrard County,” Sabrina Speratos said about best friend Savannah Spurlock.

Tuesday is Savannah Spurlock's 23rd birthday. Instead of celebrating, her family is holding out hope that she will be found.

Savannah Spurlock, 22, traveled with three men to a home 40 miles from Lexington. They say she left later that morning, but police haven't confirmed that and her mother thinks they're lying.
