Conner Cook, the close friend of disgraced attorney Alex Murdaugh’s recently murdered son, is seeking a jury trial and unspecified compensation in the lawsuit filed this week.
The day after Curtis "Fast Eddie" Smith was released from jail, he shared his version of the events that led to Alex Murdaugh's shooting, saying that he has been set up as the "fall guy" by the disgraced attorney.
Alex Murdaugh, the South Carolina legal scion, arrived at the Hampton County Law Enforcement Center and is charged with insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud and filing a false police report.
