The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released an alert on Maura Murray from their Violent Crime Apprehension Program, which tracks serial offenders.
The potential new evidence in the Maura Murray case was discovered just a little more than 20 miles away from where the college student crashed her car into a tree, then vanished, on Feb. 9, 2004.
"There were cadaver dogs that got positive hits in a basement in the area around the crash scene, and also, there was a ground-penetrating radar report to corroborate that," Kurtis Murray said as his family holds out hope they may yet find Maura's body 15 years after she vanished following a car crash.
One element of the Maura Murray case has boggled those who are enthralled with it: the phone call that Maura received from her sister a few days before she vanished.
